I've made many bows over the years, from hedge to sassafras and including a couple hickory backed cedars. The cedars left me wanting to try sinew on one someday. Well I have a nice smooth tree spied out on the farm. So I plan to cut it this Winter and get it to drying. Anyway I found an article in an old TBM (couple years ago maybe) about juniper and sinew . I like the looks of that bow- shorter and wider. Anyone with cedar/sinew experience that can throw in some generic dimensions to get one started, please toss them out. I'll be looking for a 50-55 # bow at 28". Shorter is better but not so short as to be a compromise of practibility.
