Kenny, I had a couple split like that I made about 13 years ago and they are still strong today. I clamped them up with G clamps but I haven't had any problems since I went to the air house...Glenn...

Thanks guys! I figure when the osage develops its darker color,it'll be hard to see ,glad I used amber boo! Not worried about it,I'm sure it will be fine. Glad to hear that Glenn!
I will speed test it Sat I hope, and post results. Not that speed matters, but if you get something for nothing ,why not.
What I mean is if its quieter and still shoots respectable speed, great!
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Kenny- sure like the looks of your bow-will have to rethink what I am going to do with the lams and glass I just got(thanks)- have to come up with some plans now and probably build a new form.

OK, shot it thru the chrony at the local pro shop. 608 grn arrow for a 50# bow = 12.16 gpp. Shot this one,my hunting bow from the last 2 years 50#,and a Hoyt TD recurve (brand new)50#

Not measured draw, close to 28",tried to lock on anchor solid for all.

Huntin bow--- av 155
new osage-----av 153
Hoyt recurve--av 153

Not super fast for any of em,don't know what droppin to 9gpp like Blackie tests would do for em...

The new osage was a lot quieter than either of the others, followed by the huntin bow, then the Hoyt.

All of this really means little because the arrows were tuned only to the huntin bow. Just thought it was interesting.

Will have to tune a 9gpp arra just out of curiosity.....
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Thanks for the numbers Kenny.  Looks like maybe ours are not too far out at the lower to mid 160's FPS at 10 GPP.
