What glue is best for applyingrawhide backing?

Hide glue or Tite-Bond. I prefer Tite-Bond III.

Both of those work great.On hard woods with alot of resins and oils.But with white woods Elemers white wood glue works great.

I rawhide back most of my bows and Tite bond hasnt failed me yet
Bring a compass because it's awkward when you have to eat your friends.
