well its out of the oven!!! i took some pics right after i got her out, and then went to work. she is all cleaned up, and i slimmed her down. she is going to be 62in ntn, and somewhere around 55# @ 28in. i have pics of everything i've done so far. and i'll post them as soon as i figure out how. thanks to everyone who has helped so far. i'm sure i'll be looking for more help in the future.

alright you guys have waited long enough. i think i got the photobucket thing figured out, so here we go. i think this is the first pic. it is fresh out of the oven. the glue is still on it and everything. this is it after the limbs have been slimmed down and i glued tip over lays on. this is it strung up. the riser.
well thats all i got for now. oh by the way. the length is 62in ntn draw weight is 60lbs@28 and it will really sling an arrow. couldn't wait anymore had to give it a shot. can't wait to shoot it through a speed gun.

Lookin good Eric!!

Wish my first had looked that good!!

Minwax helmsman spar urethane satin is what I like to use. You might want to handrub the walnut riser with it a couple times,or use a coat of CA before finish.Walnut is porous and needs filled for best results. The glass only needs a couple coats anyway.

ca? what is that? oh by the way i'm going to need some more lams. there are a lot of traditional bowyers in my family. brothers, cousins, uncles. they all seem to think they need one now.   :knothead:   looks like i got my work cut out for me! i'll be in touch with lam sizes later.
