Houston area self bowers?
« on: March 13, 2009, 09:18:00 PM »
Anybody from the Houston area that can help me make a bow? I won a blank from Two Tracks Bows (http://www.twotracksbow.com/) and it is more blank than I am capable of finishing without some help. I would need help with the tillering and all of that. I am looking for somebody that can help me, not do it for me. I am going to try and get some books, but I am a hands on learner.

What I am trying to get is a bow that pulls in the upper 40's at 26".

Can anybody help me?

Thank you so much.
Chester

Yeah he is up in Weatherford (Dallas area over 300 miles away), so far enough that he can help me as much as I would need. I am planning on picking up on of his DVD's though and I hope that will lead me in the right direction.
