moving to high humidity area

I have several osage staves i have cured in Colorado but I am moving to Houston,Texas and am worried about picking up too much moisture before I get around to making a bow. I am assuming I will have to store them inside but how do I seal them to pick up as little moisture as possible. Also will I need a hot box there to dry out staves and boards, I have never needed one here. Any advice from bowyers in wet climates would be appreciated.

I recently moved from high humidity to low. I faced the opposite. I would build a hot box and keep it around 90 degs, pick up a thermometer that also reads RH and keep it in the box, you can get one pretty cheap at the hardware store. Then I used to use this calculator.

I'd seal the back and ends with shellac, or a wood glue.
