Tiller question

I just added snake skins to my ACS CX. Everything went well...the only concern is that I had to raise my nock point from 3/4 to 7/8" after the skin job.

Did I get more glue or finish on one of the limbs? What do I do to correct it, or so I just not worry about it??

I'd guess the added weight of the skins has changed the tiller a tad, probably not enough to worry about. How's the bow shoot? do you see or feel any difference there?

Dano, the bow shoots just fine, that high nock point was just bothering me. I added a Bear Weatherest this afternoon, thinking that may move some of the pressure off of the bottom limb.

I went from a 7/8" high nock point to 3/8", and arrow flight is awesome! The bow is as quite as a church mouse now. I think I've found the sweet spot!!

You might check the tiller measurements, sounds like the lower limb might be flexing more, but I am not sure why. If the upper limb measurement was say 3/16" greater than the lower, but is now only 1/16", something caused the change to make the lower limb stiffer in relation to the upper. At zero or negative the arrows won't fly regardless of what you do with the nocking point, until you bring it back into a positive tiller. At least that has been my experience.

I meant to say, the lower limb is now less stiff in relation to the upper limb.
