It's for my 13 year old daughter. It will be fairly light weight, so the potential hinge on the left isn't a big concern at this point.
It's way off in the handle right now as I haven't decided how to shape that. Because of the light weight she wants and the thickness (3/4") and width (1.75") I have at the handle right now, I can probably shape a rest and mostly non bending handle without a riser.
Is this a good candidate for a recurve? If so, is this the time to steam and bend?
Any/all comments welcome. I am still pretty new at this. Other than knowing I need to shape the handle, get bending near center and be careful around the potential hinge on the left, I don't see anything out of the ordinary.
Note to George - I have a pulley and my spring scale that can be pulled in any direction should be in my mailbox any day now. I do listen to the experienced, sometimes.
