Waterlox Sealer Finisher
« on: June 04, 2009, 12:31:00 PM »
Anyone ever use Waterlox Sealer finisher with oily woods?  I talked with a guy from minwax and he said they do not sell anything they would recommend with South american exotics, but he said personally he uses waterlox original Sealer finisher for his exotic woods.

I am thinking of giving it a try with my IPE bow.

I used it a couple of times on some older bears-they were Maple of course-no experience with it on Ipe etc.
I can tell you it is very waterproof and durable.

I think I am going to give it a try.  They sell these small 2.5oz qualities.
