pressure buttons?
« on: June 15, 2009, 07:16:00 PM »
Has anyone installed a pressure button on a recuvre bow that didn't come with one?? I'm thinking of putting one on a older bow that never had one before. This bow currently uses a cheap Cartel stick on rest and the small rise in place of the button wears out very often. Would you or have you ever installed a button?? I'm sick of replacing the Cartel rest.

I have never done this but plan to on my next recurve.  The brass "bow bushings" from Bingham's will serve both as a stabilizer insert as well as fit a standard plunger thread therefore I plan to install one of those to fit the plunger.
