dual stalker quiver
« on: February 08, 2008, 09:05:00 AM »
I've seen a couple of references here on a dual stalker quiver.. After doing some searching I've been unable to find them. I assume it is similar to the solo stalker offered by 3 Rivers.. Does anyone have any info on the dual model and where it can be bought ??
                          Thanks

It is made by Alaska Bowhunting supply Several trad dealers carry them

Sponsors/Associate Sponsors are the only ones allowed to do that.

Doesn't Black Widow have one? Or maybe Denny Sturgess had one on one of his Widows.

No, Black Widow does not sell Dual Stalker quivers.

Pat: the Skookum Solo Stalker, which is what you saw in the 3Rivers catalog, and the Skookum Dual Stalker are both made by the same company. You may want to do a Google search for "Skookum Dual Stalker" to locate a dealer if none of the sponsors here carry them.

I bought mine directly from Alaska Bowhunting Supply.  Works very well; doesn't vibrate, arrows stay snug, doesn't change the balance of the bow.  Can be taken off or put back on for the expense of two zip ties.

Black Widow has the "Ace in the Hole"
I think I read once that Ken Beck uses two of these on his bow

I got one of the Skookum Dual Stalkers from Alaska Bowhunting Supply. I don't like much weight on my longbow and this one is great. No effect on shooting at all. I got some of the large velcro cable ties from Wally World to secure it. They get it real snug and are reusable so I don't have to cut the plastic ones off to swap it to different bows. I did find that when installed on my Hybrids they hold the arrows a little close to my hand when carrying the bow around, my knuckles rub on the arrows. What I do is put a limb silencer under each one, then wrap and tighten the strap over it. I use the kind used on compound limbs. They wrap around the limb and are secured with a rubber ring. Can't remember what they are called. This adds just enough height that my hand doesn't bump on the arrows while handling the bow.
