Got a crack in my Grizzly

I just noticed that I have a small crack on the front of my top limb. Please help me to find a fix for it, this is my favorite bow

Sgt. Can you post a pic so we can see what you mean by 'crack'?

Was thinking of glueing and wrapping with sinew and soaking with glue. Do you think that would work?

How old is this Grizzly? Is this crack in the fiberglass? and does it run in the same direction as the limb?

Not real sure on the age, made in the 70's "I think". It is on the edge and looks as if the glass is seperating from the limb and it comes across about a 1/4".

I'd try to get some CA glue in between the laminations and clamp it before I wrapped it. Where on the limb is the crack?

A little over half way up the limb, between the shelf and the tip, on the outside.

That don't sound too good to me. I would still try to CA first, if that doesn't hold, you can either hang it on the wall or wrap it with sinew, and hope that holds. Being that the de-lamination is in the working limb, CA may not hold it. You'll have to flex the limb (open up the crack) to get CA down into the crack real good.
