Looking for form plans for a R/D longbow
« on: July 29, 2009, 11:43:00 PM »
Hey all,

I'm wanting to build a R/D longbow and was wondering if anyone has plans for a form that they could send to me.

If anyone has them in electronic format or measurements from a successful build, I'd be happy to get a starting point.

I don't want to do too much experimenting and screw up my first build.

Thx

Thanks rkmnt2...I have seen this link...but what I'm after is the specs for the "curve" on the form.

Perhaps I'm just being think, but I don't see dimensions for the curve.

Not sure if this makes sense to everyone

You might check with The Old Master Crafter, they use to have plans years ago, haven't checked in years.  Bingham Projects has one called a pronounced longbow.

Maybe this is something? I use it for my R/D bows.
