I hope I can help ya. I used to use TBird with a cheap air brush, Had good results. I would mix about a cup of finish for a bow, keep it in the fridge between coats. I would use a mason canning jar. When your ready to use it again just put the jar in a sink full of hot water, to get the finish temp back up. You should be able to put about two coats on per day, let dry for two days , sand with 320 grit or so and repeat. It takes some practice with the brush to get the flow down pat, the nice thing about the air brush is, there is very little clean up. I did use TBirds thinner for the mix, but reagular laquor thinner for clean up. Now I make less bows, and use Tru-Oil. TBird appears to be expensive, but when you break it down per bow, it works out to about $6.00 per bow, that ain't bad for a great finish.
