Can you share any experience you have with this sealer? I have a spray gun and an air compressor. I've read in "Hunting the Osage Bow" that Mr. Torges prefers this over all other sealers but the specialized equipment makes it less available to most.

I'm interested in knowing more about the size and possible ventilation needs of a spray booth/room. Is a 8'x 4' area large enough? My thought is to hang the bows from the top of the booth.

Ive hung my bows while I sprayed them with good results. Be sure you have a good respirator, that stuff stinks.

That's all I use any more.  I buy the satin and the the texture is at the bottom of the can.  When spraying sealer, or pore filling coats, I will dip it off the top without mixing.  You can do this to spray gloss as well.  Then you mix it well, add the catalyst and let sit for 15-20 minutes.  I thin it with the fast synol thinner from Van Dee.  I usually spray four or five coats, and then a textured final coat.  I put several halogen lamps close and it cures faster.  I can sand in an hour or a little more, if needed.  After about 12-14 hours it is ready to string.  It's a good durable finish.  It will kill you, without a respirator!
