Tillering help needed

I'm working on a hickory t/d that is 67" with limbs that are 28.5", 1.750" @ riser mounting holes down to .750 tips. I've been on the long string down to 16" and its drawing 55#. So far right on the money, problem is the more wood I take off the draw stays the same, I've gone from these numbers .356 @ tip to .546 @ fades, down to .318 and .538...how much more will it take? Its already got smaller numbers than my first t/d . By the way its all wood, no glass..any insights will be greatly appericated.

Have you been exercising the limbs between wood removal? You should flex the limbs at least 30 times.

If you are long stringing at 16" go to a short string. Long string will give you a false reading at longer draws. I switch to short string at about 8" of tip movement.
  With a long string the leverage and string angle pulls almost straight down and a short string pulls inwards. The leverage is different and so is the results.
