refinishing a bow
« on: August 27, 2009, 11:57:00 AM »
I have a question that I'd like to ask.  I want to refinish an old bow. I'm not a bowyer or a professional painter. I don't have a spray gun and compressor, spray booth, etc. etc..  What type of finish do you recommend for a do-it-yourself refinishing project?  Thanks in advance.  Dan Jones

If it were me I'd use Helmsman spar urethane. Don't get carried away sanding, especially the limbs.
