I am planning a trip to Shiloh Ranch and was wondering if anyone has stalked this ranch with or without success?

Thanks, Howard

yes, My friend Jose' and I both still-hunted Shiloh, and both got shots at pigs.
Is it too late to be what I could have been?

I also spent 90% of my last hunt stalking at Shiloh.  I did not end up with a pig, but had an absolute blast trying.  Lots of action.

Yes it can be done...I got with in 10-15 yards on several occasions in Jan, lots of fun! I would suggest talking it over with your group though, some of the blinds/stands are pretty close and your spot and stalk might have an impact on thier sucess - either way if it be stand, blind or spot and stalk you will have a great time. Good people and good fun, that's what it's all about.

Howard,

Matt will give you the low down on this when you get there. Been to Shiloh the last six years. The stalking is great. I would suggest staying away from the center of the property if you are going to stand hunt in the evening, but the stalking within 15 yards of the road is very good. Only problem is the brush is dense.

No doubt you will have a great time. Five of us went back in Jan and came home with six hogs.
