thinking of building my first
« on: November 23, 2009, 02:16:00 PM »
Hey guys, need some advice, thinking of ordering the binghams takedown recurve kit. I am a finish carpenter with all the tools. I have always wanted to build my own bow. Is this kit a good place to start or are there better recommedations? Any advice would be apprieciated. I also have a grandfather that has built some museum quality hawkins rifles that will help if needed.

Sounds like you are set!  I think the Binghams kit would serve you well for your first.

I am thinking of ordering a binghams kit for a takedown longbow and have no tools. What tools are absolutely essential?
