I've got a Lonetree longbow that is a hybrid type reflex-deflex that has a grip somewhat like the Savannah. I'm saying that, and I've handled several Savannahs but I'm having a little trouble picturing the details. I just remember them having real clean, flowing lines.
The actual grip area is shaped a "little" like Kenny's pic but not quite as sudden of a dip below the shelf and more gradual coming out of it as it gets into the palm area. Also the tapers at the top and bottom of the riser are more gradual on my bow as the riser is completely inside the limb lams whereas Kennys bow has about half the handle material added as overlays.
By the way Kenny, cool looking bow. Did you make it?
I'm not too far away from you and I'm usually off work on weekends and I'm home mornings until about 2:00 in the afternoon.
I'll PM you my phone number after I hit enter on this.
Might even be able to meet you down at Cabellas some time. Ya know, a fella can always use an excuse to go to Cabellas right? I live about 15 minutes north of there.
