Anyone ever use this wood. I've read about some about and it sounds like it's a very dense wood.

I had a Saluki Ibex with it and it is very pretty , my dad has the bow now and its still going . Drew

I have a bow made in Papa New Guina out of black palm. Yes it is a very dense wood, also very hard. Very interesting fibers in the wood, they are just vertical, no growth rings.
