rubber band bow forms

How many of you use this type of form?

i use em.  here is a picture of mine with a bow cooling down outside. i have already taken about 1/2 the bands off when this picture was taken.

 
does everyone else look up when someone yells "DUCK!!"?

I don't think you can have too many but you can definitely have too few.
  Do a dry run to see how many bands at what location on the glue up before you add the glue. I know the fade areas will need more band pressure as will recurve areas with sharp bends. smooth even curves shouldn't need as much.

Be sure to use a pressure strip, and Marty and Russell use a narrow strip on top of that I think.  The air hose type form puts pressure in the center of lam,band form more at the edge.

i will take a picture of the thin stip i use for balanced force.  I use a ~3/4" strip of rubber on the side opposite the bow, so the bands push in the center as well as the sides.  that way the limb profile doesnt "dish"  i think marty uses some PVC trim.  rubber is real easy for me because i have left overs when i make the bottom of the pressure strip and it does not need to be relieved to make the curves like the pvc does.
