Binghams 68"T/D Longbow brace height?
« on: December 29, 2009, 11:41:00 PM »
I just finished building a Binghams design 68" shallow T/D longbow and the brace height seems to be 6 1/4".Is 6 1/4" normal for this bow and if not what height is normal for this design?I am getting decent arrow flight at 6 1/4" but i would appreciate input from others who have built this same bow.

Give Elmont a call, he is pretty easy to talk to.
The T/D longbows I did were the pronounced design, and their brace height was a whole lot higher.

Good Luck

My pronounced bows with all parallels brace at 7 1/4". The origional design from Binghams had a taper and a reverse taper and braced at 8".

Just made a 68" shallow from bingham. my brace
height came in about like yours. I called them
and was told to use a 64" string not a 63".
Hope this helps Jim.
