Problem Brewing ?

I have an older recurve in very good shape with the exception that the glass on the limbs is not as clear as it was new. Bow has been very well cared for. It looks like soft white vertical streaks in the clear class, the length of the limb. Is this part of the aging process, Bow is at least 20 years old.

I have a Viper 68"-Longbow that also has some white streaks in the glas on the back and belly and its new. But it shoots just fine, even at the low temperatures we have right now.
