another one started

actually started this one two weeks ago. before i began the kids bow. now working on the simultaneously. it has a macassar ebony and zebrawood riser. with wenge veneers under clear glass.

in this pic i want you to notice all the beautiful grains in the wenge under the glass cant you see it ? it is just wonderful.

Damn eman, thats a beauty. Fantastic job ! I bet the riser will look awesome with the finish on. The limbs look nice to. Have you already shoot her ?

thanks guys. i was being sarcastic about how the limbs looked. they did look beautiful when i got them, and they were still beautiful when i was gluing it up, but once the glue cured, they were almost black. you can see the grains but you really have to look for them.

andy i have shot it, and its quite nice if i don't say so myself. iwill have an unbiased opinion after this weekend, so i'll let you know what he thinks.

guess i should of wrote something instead of just bringing it up. this one is almost done. i have gotten all the rasp marks out of the riser. that was a bit more of a chore than usual. the ebony is extremely hard, and it takes a lot of sanding to get the gouges left by the rasp out. the limbs are tillered, and the tips are mostly done. i should be able to get a finish on it this weekend.
