i was wondering what size chunk of wood is needed to make a riser from?

I guess it all depends on what kind of bow, but I'd say for a longbow the minimum I usually use would be 1.5" x 1.75" x 16"

it kinda depends on what length the bow will be. for 60"+ bows i use an 18" riser for the shorter bows i use a shorter riser.
