KD, I think I heard Bob say these were one of the 1st sets of Arapho's he's put the veneers on the foam core. Let's keep the $$$$$$$ subject to a minimum or I might be sleeping with your cat.LOL!
-Snag, Inspiration,YES, I just hope it doesn't cause me to rush it.
-DANNY, DANNY,DANNY, I hear the chant of the foam core.

Hey Leatherneck, I read a bit ago a contribution from Bob that he felt the foam added no appreciable performance over boo in the Arapaho limbs but does in the Dakotas. I have the boo Arapahos and just wondered if you have an opinion. Don't know if you've shot both.

It's not the foam he's talking about it's the carbon backing.  On the recurve limbs it doesn't do enough to justify. But...... on the dakota the carbon really shines, to the tune of 7-8 fps!  The foam core works awesome with both designs.  ron

i shot the recurve with the foam core and own a 1 pc foam and carbon dakota.  They are a different animal for sure. Its a different feel, Super smooth and stable.  The thing that struck me was how quiet and fast both bows are. cheers,  ron
