couple of questions
« on: March 23, 2010, 02:42:00 PM »
I always seem to forget some basic things so I have to ask again.
If one limb is slightly weaker than the other, should that be top or bottom limb?

Now for a question or two of preference; how wide do you like your handle on an Osage self bow, and do you add a shelf?

Got one finished up except for some work on the handle.  I have what I would consider average size hands but the handle so far seems a little fat, and that is going off of a collection of instructions I've gleaned from here.
Took a few shots with it as is and it's goona be a shooter.

The top limb should have a more positive tiller, so it will be the weaker limb. Handle on mine are about 1 1/4. Normaly glue on a piece of leather for the rest.
