Getting Close
« on: April 12, 2010, 01:01:00 PM »
Well, after spending several months building my shop, doing hunny-do's, enduring winter, going to grandson's ballgames, and getting thru hunting season, I've finally got my form built for my D&R Hybrid bow.  Next, I going to built my Heat Box.  and, then it's time to try my hand at bow building.  I've got all the materials for two bows, thanks to Kenny.  I purchased everything from him last Summer, and am just now getting ready to actually build something.  the first, Black Walnut riser with Osage Orange accents, Red Elm limbs thru clear glass, will be for me.  the second bow, Osage Orange with Black Walnut accents, Red Elm limbs thru clear glass, is for my grandson.  A pair of twins, not identical, but twins.
