Anybody ever use any pistachio wood in a bow riser or any part of a bow for that matter?

I like to eat them!

I've heard the old adage that any fruit or nut tree works. How well,,, that is the question? Surely worth a try!

I think most of the lumber comes from groves in California. I don't know if they grow wild or what.

I'm thinking of having it put into a riser for an accent on a custom bow.
