space between top and bottom of form

How much space is needed for the air hose between the top and bottom of the bowform???  For a longbow.

With my pressure strip, 1 1/4". My pressure strip is rubber about 5/16 thick.

I know 1 1/8 is too tight.

1 1/4" will let me bolt the form up with just a little squeeze with a bar clamp.

Just make sure it is evenly spaced the entire length (except riser area of course). 1 1/4" is what I use also and it require just a little squeeze.
