BOA question
« on: February 12, 2008, 08:30:00 PM »
Trying to decide between the regular and small fry.  For those who have them, can you provide the dimensions -- height, width and depth?  Also, is the leather stretched over a plastic hood?  What gives it and enables it to keep its shape?  Thanks.

Orion I have been hunting with the Small Fry for the past two seasons and my buddy has the full size...not sure of the size dimensions but the small fry holds three arrows comfortably and four kinda tight...the full size holds quite possibly twice as many arrows...yes the leather is over a hard shell that does not allow it to lose its shape...beautiful and well made hope this info is of some help!

Orion,
I have had both and currently using the boa. Circumference at the widest portion is approx. 12 inches. Depth 4.5 inches and width at the widest section is 3 inches. Mine is the strap on, very secure and beautiful. No way it will loose its shape, these are made with great skill. I hold 4 broadheads with ease and large profile feathers. The small fry holds three but will cramp 4 arrows and with broadheads it is very tight. I don;t think you can find a better quiver and workmanship is as good as it gets. tom

Thanks pc and tukudu.  The large seems to be very close in size to the Selway's I'm currently using.  Now I'm leaning toward the Small Fry.  Any chance one of you could put a ruler to one?
