So I've decided that I'm going to sell my Martin recurve in favor of using my own, hand made bows from now on. It's a few years old, x-200 50#.

I was just wondering where I should go to get the best price for it. Obviously, I'm NOT selling it here. I know the rules. I'm just wondering if I should use an auction website, local "for sale" ads, a flea market, or what?

What do you figure it's worth? It has a few scratches in the finish but it still shoots like new.

What did your pay for it?  Their book stresses affordability.  It says "Sure we cut corners...but only when pricing this great shooting bow!"  So, I'm guessing it's on the lower end of the Martin line.

I paid about 250, maybe 300.

I would expect around $150 for it.

TG classifieds is a good place to sell or you can go to the big on-line auction house. I prefer TG. Good move going to your own hand made sticks!

The x-200 makes an excellent bowfishing bow.

Martins prices jumped a couple of years ago, I think I paid $170.00 new for mine.
