2 piece Quivers...

I'm in the market for a Bow quiver. I'm thinking I would like to shoot with the quiver off my bow, this is the way I shoot the Compound. I like the Bow quivers with the quick detach ,Selway, EFA, Thunderhorn etc... I don't want to shoot with the quiver on my Bow, when I'm on stand and take the quiver off my Bow will the arrows and quiver separate or will they stay as one unit??? Or do I need a different type of Quiver??

I do exactly what you are referring to.I use an EFA(actually 3 of em)and the arrows/quiver stay together very well when taken off and hung by my stand. Can't speak for any of the other models, haven't used them.

Here's a few pictures of the new Kanati angle quiver by Annewakee Archery. It's a one piece that fastens on the bow with fast deployment straps. The quiver is then fastened to the straps by two thumb screws. You can adjust the angle of your shafts in relation to the lower limb on the bow to keep your fletching out of the way. Get in the stand and remove the screws and the quiver and arrows come right off and the straps stay on the bow. Very solid system.
It's a 4 arrow quiver. They offer 3 sizes of grippers for different shafts sizes, with the med fitting most carbons. Don

I have the Great Northern quick attach which works very well if you have a takedown with limb bolts. The only time I remove my quiver is when I am hunting from the pop up blind. Even then it is not required but my fletching is bright so I like to keep it hidden as possible.
You may find that with these traditional quivers you no longer have the need to remove them. The Eagles Flight quivers are so small you probably will not even notice them.
I avoided using a bow quiver for a long time thinking that I would be uncomfortable but now I really like them. Try one.
