Did you go through the set up procedure in the book that came with the saw? I just purchased one, went thru the set up step by step and mine works great. You could also contact Grizzly? They don't mind helping. It sounds like the blade may not be running on the crown of the wheels to me or the wheel pitch may be off but I'm no expert.  Paul<><

It sounds like the tires are worn.  They should be tightly on the wheels, and the blade should ride with the teeth sticking out over the edge, not centered (unless it's a 1/8" or maybe 1/4" blade.)

That saw's worth keeping so I'd start out with replacement tires and new blades, try Timberwolf low tension 3/8" (or wider) 4 tpi skiptooth for resawing.

You should also tune the saw.  This entails adjusting the blade guides such that they are almost touching the blade, adjusting the thrust bearing such that it's not touching the blade until the wood makes contact, adjusting the blade tracking such that the blade's teeth aren't riding on the tire but rather hang off the front a little, and clean the wheels and tires (remove built up sawdust, pitch, etc.)  When you're done cleaning you can stick those tires down with an adhesive if you're going to use the old ones.

My little Delta's top tire kept working its way off because the blade teeth were too far off the front and the tension was too high.  It simply sqeezed that tire like toothpaste out of the tube.

Good luck.

I was trying to put the blade in the center of the belt.I will try adjusting and use less tension. Thanks a bunch.I've been hearing about these Grizzlys & always wanted one.I purchased a Craftsman last year but in the back of my mind still wanted a Grizzly.I cleaned the tires yesterday & put a rubber conditioner on them I flipped them inside out thought that would help but now I learn that the belts are humped.I'm going to tear her down & start over.

I think that the advise of going through the tune steps is very good.  I have a thirty plus year old Delta.  Never really used it for precision sawing for years.  When I decided to start making my own lams. I changed the tires, thrust bearings, and added cool blocks.  It behaves like a totally different saw now.  I googled bandsaw tuning, I think it even showed some tuneup video.
