Bubble underneath fiberglass lam
« on: July 05, 2010, 03:02:00 PM »
Is it possible to fix air pockets underneath the fiberglass lam on a recurve bow. They are located on the belly right at the recurve. I was thinking about drilling a small hole in each pocket and filling with epoxy then adding a thin lam of wood to cover the holes. Thanks Tony

Is there a way you could post a picture.  I have had a few pockets through the years never tried drilling and filling, might work.  Hopefully someone will have some experience.
