The bow has some pores that were not filled by the first T-bird finishing. Basically, all I'm wanting to do is fill the pores with the new finish, and down in the pores is where the wax will or should be the hardest to remove.
I'll wipe it down good with Acetone and denatured alcohol, then try a very small area first.
I'm planning on filling the pores with a rag, sanding smooth, then brushing a thin coat on the entire riser....any tips or tricks I should know before attempting this?
