Anyone Around SW Missouri?

i've been lurking and reading for a while but finally registered. Been really wanting to get started into bowyering, but need some hands on guidance maybe. have had a few spectacular failures and 1 ugly partial sucess. i think patience and lack of free time is my biggest enemy. If there is anyone reasonably close that wouldn't mind helping out a beginner with some of the finer points, i'd much appreciate it. thanks
