delaminated bow project help

Recently one of my friends bow delaminated.  It happened when he set it down and went to retrieve his arrows.  I haven't seen it yet but he says that none of the wood is damaged.  I told him that we might be able to repair it... but I've never tried anything like this.  Here is what I was thinking. I think in order to fix the bow we would have to totally delaminate the bow, do some sanding and put it back together.  My reasoning is that if I try to just glue the lam that came unglued and then put the bow in the oven.. the other glued lams would then delaminate.  Does that make sense?  Any tips would be greatly appreciated, if this is even possible.

im guessing that the rest of the bow might delaminate to. delaminating the entire thing then sanding it will change the weight as well as the tiller to an extent.Whip may be able to help you as far as what to do to fix it, or Bowdoc may be able to help as well.

the hot box might delam or weaken the riser as well. I just fixed one with black glass that had delaminated about 4 inches on the limb. I taped one side of the limb edge with masking tape, used two very thin knife blades to wedge the other side open abit. Mixed a little smooth on and heated it a little with a hair dryer so it would flow into the crack better. Used two spring clamps and let it cure overnight. Maybe 100 arrows and still shooting great.

anyone have a link to a rebuild-along? I did a search and didn't find anything.  When I embark on this project I'll be sure to photo and document for other victims of delam.
