Building a pyramid...got a question
« on: July 15, 2010, 12:56:00 PM »
I am in the process of building my first pyramid bow. I have everything roughed out and ran into a small issue.
The back of the limbs have some thicker area and are messing up the total thickness of the limbs. So my question is can I remove wood from the back of the limbs without ruining it?

Could you post some pics, you can remove wood from the back but make sure its flat when you are finished with no low or high areas of wood

Here a pic of one of the high areas. Not really sure if the pic shows what I'm talkin about?

Take wood off of the high spots to even out with the rest on the back to flatten it out and then proceed with tillering by taking wood off of the belly, if there are knots that run on the back you will want to remove wood around them but leave the knot intact

How many Egyptians has it taken to get this far on your pyramid?     :bigsmyl:    :biglaugh:    :biglaugh:
1) Gen. 21:20
And God was with the lad, he grew, and he dwelt in the wilderness, and he became an archer
2)The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not.
