Slowed down a little
« on: July 15, 2010, 11:24:00 PM »
Well,..about 4 months ago, my multiple bows being built a month came to a screaching stop.  I think from back then, over the last year I got some type of bow built on average every 8 days...but not so much any more..I haven't lost interest but I am just a little short on time now.

Instead of spending nights in the garage mixing epoxy, I've been mixing formula and changing diapers in the house.  Its been great too!..Heres a pic of the future bowyer that I'll be training over the next decade.  I think hes going to pick it up pretty quickly too!

Congrats !  Man do i know how you feel.  I have to say, i always look forward to seeing your posts.  i love the bows you are building.  If there is any one thing to hold you back let it be your children.

I have three boys and about 6 unfinished self bows in the garage.  Enjoy your time !

Brad that is a great looking future bowyer.  Looks like he will pull a pretty heavy draw weight before long. I see one of those 46" recurves in his future in not to many years.

You will not regret the time you spend with your son rather than making bows! My last son moved out a month ago and it sure is lonely.

I can understand why you don't want to build bows right now Brad. Congrats.
