Osage Thicket
« on: July 29, 2010, 06:53:00 PM »
I found about six bois d'arcs on my aunt's farm.  They're in a thicket where the cows get shade.  These things have been there at least twenty years but I never saw them for what they are until I got into bow making.

If any of you live in Erath County I'd be willing to share a log if you'd lend some experience to the felling and splitting process.

It turns out I'm only able to get a few branches.  I'm sorry for posting before I'd gotten the required permission.
