Hello,
i came across these videos by Ray Mears the British Bushcraft Expert:
1. He makes an prehistoric British hunting bow and arrow in the woods with prehistoric tools and materials avalaible. (Bowmaking starts in the middle of this video (part2) and continues to middle of part 4) In the end of part 4 he also partially processes a roe deer with stone tools.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9sdDjuBNpvA&feature=related 2. He visits one of the last huntergatherer tribes in central africa and they make him a hunting bow and arrow in one day out of fresh cut wood.
i fouznd it pretty impressive to see how it can be made and still is.
Regards
P.S. I hope this is not offtopic, but as they are actually hunting arrows and in one case used for it, i hope it doesnt offend tradgang rules to post this here.
