At the risk of injecting seriousness (I hate it when that happens), there is a formula to the effect that: x(buildalongs) = 1(DVD)
There are so many buildalongs on various sites (my own being one of them (not that mine is one of the real good ones, but I'm pretty sure it's the longest with the most photos!). Really study five or six of them and it becomes like a dvd in your head. (Or maybe that's just my head?)
Other than that, there are the Bingham dvd's... pretty fair, and the dvd of Louie Armbruster (available in the ads in the back of Trad. Bowhunter mag). (The original video was better)
I've seriously thought about doing one, aimed at real beginners (I've done videos in other fields), but I can't find anyone who can devote three or four days to being the cameraman. It's just too darn awkward trying to do the work, narrate and film alone.
