Tamo Ash as a skin veneer?
« on: August 13, 2010, 11:29:00 AM »
Hey all,  Happy Friday to ya!

Has anyone ever used Tamo Ash thin veneer as a skin lamination layer under glass on limbs before?  I am using a .024 veneer which is real thin just for looks under the belly and back glass of some takedown limbs.  Tamo Ash is a lil brittle and the grain is a touch coarse in areas.  I am worried about glass delam. and any advise would be appreciated.

THX JV
