Nice Job. It looks like a Real Indian style bow, the Osage tribe here in Missouri would be thumping their war drums and chanting praise to you for building such a fine weapon!
I just built myself one also, mine is 68" from Tip/Tip and it's a sweet shooter also, much, much smoother than any recurve I have ever pulled back and I love it. It might not be as quick, but the smoothness more than makes up for it.
Sadly mine has a splinter starting beside a knot that I couldn't avoid in my upper limb and I only hope I can repair it before it goes any further. I had big dreams of killing a deer this year with my own home made longbow, and home made traditional arrows.
BTW- I'm sure mine didn't tiller perfect either, but I'm going to make myself a Gizmo before I build my 2nd one, and I've got plenty of staves to practice on.
