1st and second bow

Ok I lied a little, my "1st bow" was a red oak board bow that exploded when I strung it to brace height. anyway here are the first successful shooters. let me know what ya think.
these are maple board bows with a zebrawood riser and tips. the snake skin looking one is backed with fiberglass fabric and is 53# at 28", the camo one in ripstop nylon from some old pants and is 57# at 28". I made both of these in about a week, I think I'm hooked!

There you go! next time I'll have my wife take the full draw pics, 12sec on the camera delay feels like forever holding almost 60#.

You might want to wait a few seconds before drawing them with the timer. It could be bad for the bow holding it at full draw for that long.
