I just recieved my 2008 Colorado application book.

Hey Dave I got mine here in SoDak before you too!!! Course I don't think I can really rub that in since you are out there living in the middle of them, just like God intended. It really is the only thing wrong with SD we can only hunt elk here as a resident about every 10 to 15 years if we are lucky!!!
To me, the ultimate challenge in bowhunting is not how far away you can succesfully make a killing shot but rather how close you can get to the animal before shooting.

LittleJohn ,

I did hunt Colo last year but didn't draw. It was my first elk hunt with a stick. I am only putting in for preference points right now. I have 4 now and need 7 where I want to hunt.
