Didn't know hedge and osage are the same tree. Learned something new on here once again.
Sounds like you better wear a thick coat when cutting that down!
If I make a bow worthy of sharing a picture of I will post one. Really looking forward to trying this.

Every bow is worthy David. They are all unique and special in their own way. Just as long as it pleases you that's all that matters, if it doesn't then it makes real good kindlin'....  :campfire:  

Just kidding, don't do that. Save it now matter how it turns out for future referrence and you will know how you want to do it different the next time. My first Osage longbow had some cracks around a couple of knots that I cut through the center of rather than leave them in the limb, so I wrapped it with flax and Tite Bond II wood glue and it's still holding up. I'll keep it forever or maybe pass it along to my brother.
