Bow making class
« on: November 01, 2010, 02:34:00 PM »
Have any of you taken a class on making a flat bow from Bill Darr?  I am interested in making a bow and would consider taking a class, or purchasing a video to teach me how.  Any suggestions?

If you can follow a build along, here on this site, check out poor folk bows by Sam Harper, he is one of many that can get you started bending wood. I am not familiar with the name above, but I am sure there are others here that may well be. If your into laminates with fiberglass and wood look at Bingham Projects they have a wealth of information including videos

Good Luck

4est trekker's build along was a mere $20 try for me and my first try turned out well.  Extremely free instructions which helped me out in the pocketbook.  Here's a link
